その昔、玄箱Proに Debian を入れて vsftpd をインストールしようとした時に、偉く苦労をしたのを覚えております。
どんな点で苦労をしたのか、どうやれば上手くいったのか、今では忘れてしましましたが過去の経験は財産でしょう。
果たして、財産を利用できるでしょうか。

インストールがあっと言う間に終わったので、拍子抜けしてしまいました。
実は、こんな場合が一番嵌りやすいんですよねぇ。

当時の記録が残っておりますので、その通りに修正します。

あらかじめ作成済みのユーザー(私の場合は/home/yukke_no_kobeya/に登録の yukke )で、vsftpd.chroot_list(/etc/vsftpd.chroot_list)を作成します。
これを作成してから再起動(/etc/init.d/vsftpd restart)するだけで、あっさりとサーバーに接続できました。
釈迦に説法ですが、登録したユーザーがアクセスするWEBディレクトリィのパーミッションは設定しておく必要があります。
しかし、こんなんではセキュリティはメロメロの状態だろうと思います。
やはり、これからは SSL を使用しないとまずいでしょう。

セキュリティはさておいて、これでサーバーにファイルのアップロードが出来ますから、いつでもWEBサーバーを公開できる状態になりました。

【Tips】
その1
別のハードディスクに vsftpd を入れてPC からファイル転送をしようとした時のことです。
「550 Permission denied」エラーが出て、どうやっても転送できません。
受け入れ側のフォルダのモードを777にしても拒まれて転送できないのですから相当なものです。
じっくりと vsftpd.conf を眺めて見ました。
write_enable=YES の先頭にコメント(#)が入っておりました。

その2
フォルダ内のCGIがなぜか動作しない場合があります。
勿論、その動作環境の設定は万全ですし、CGIのパーミッションの設定にも問題はありません。
root では問題なく動作をしております。
その場合は、そのCGIファイルを搭載しているフォルダのパーミッションを変えると動作する場合があります。
通常は、755で設定していると思いますが、モードを 777 に変更してはどうでしょうか。
書き込み動作のあるCGIは、そうしないと動かないのではないでしょうか。(詳しくは理解しておりません)
